Choosing a 302 5.0 block for the build.

This is going to be interesting.  While looking at the choices for my build the blocks out on the market are not cheap.  I like the Boss 302 price but I don't like the short cylinder walls.  The World block seems nice but the price of the block plus machine shop costs is out of my budget.  The Dart SHP block i think is more of a good fit for my build.  The Dart SHP with a all forged Eagle 347 stroker kit seems more like it.  The Block will have World Senior heads with a GT40 tubular on top.

Engine Build planning.

Well its time for me to put together a list of what I need for this build.  My build will include a engine worthy of the abuse I am going to put the engine through.  I'm assuming that the build will need to withstand 600 max horsepower.  Any ideas please post them.

Block is cracked!

Oh well I'm glad I caught it before I started the build. It's time for a aftermarket block.

The Cam

I will be going with a Trickflow stage 1 cam with 1.70 roller rockers.

Time for a 347 Stroker build!
